Château La Commanderie Pomerol

2014 Reconquest

75cl – Merlot & Cabernet Franc

Proud and fiery, the Knight in search of excellence is ready to launch, sword in hand, to overcome all obstacles that may arise in his path. After a winter and a spring of remarkable gentleness, it’s the ardent month of September that pushed the grapes to perfect ripeness. The first vintage made with the new equipment, this wine shows great finesse despite its strong dominance of Merlot (95%) and a long aging in oak barrels. With remarkable aromatics, this wine also benefits from beautiful complexity with notes of cocoa, dried fruits, and truffles.
