Yet, he didn’t surrender and fought with courage to bring back the sun at the end of July, thus stopping the advance of the dreaded fungus. The meticulous grape selection resulted in a limited but highly quality production, suggesting one of the greatest wines produced on the estate. From this wine emerge toasty and vanilla notes, with intense and luscious red fruits.

In 2018, the wine stands out with a predominant note of red fruits, but the essence remains unchanged. We are quickly charmed by roasted, even vanilla nuances that reveal themselves after a few minutes. Similarly, in 2019, we find this characteristic freshness of La Commanderie, a sign of high-level winemaking.
